The Nonsentrics (originally named Tmuss) was founded in the summer of 2022 when Troy Musson and Irene Ann set about on an adventure to create unique pop songs with catchy melodies, great rhythms, emotive lyrics, and cool vocal harmonies. Both with diverse musical roots and their combined talents and influences, The Nonsentrics are poised to establish a signature style of pop music that will captivate audiences. 

TROY MUSSON 

An established singer/songwriter and producer, Troy has lived in the city of Athens, Greece since 2008. Born in the city of Leicester, UK, he embarked on his musical journey in his mid-20s, entertaining audiences with his solo performances of '80s electro-pop melodies. In the early '90s, Troy's undeniable talent led him to perform on a mainstream UK TV channel as well as appearing on British Forces radio. He was also entertaining at one of the grandest events of the year in Germany, The Rhine Army Summer Show. Furthermore, Troy's captivating performances became a regular spectacle in the seaside town of Blackpool, in the northern east of England. After a decade-long hiatus, Troy resurfaced with an unwavering passion, breathing new life into cover tracks and crafting exquisite retro-style pop songs under the pseudonym Tmuss. His musical inspiration comes from an array of influential bands, including the likes of Howard Jones, The Human League, Erasure, and Yazoo, among many others. 

IRENE ANN 

Residing in a picturesque region of East Clare, not far from the vibrant city of Limerick in Ireland, a true devotee of the melodious arts, Irene's upbringing was adorned with a rich tapestry of musical genres, predominantly Jazz, Blues, and Pop. Her intuitive talent as a songwriter has led her to embark on numerous ventures and collaborations with some esteemed musicians, further developing her skills and gaining valuable experience. Equipped with her own creative space, set up at home, Irene can record and produce her own music. No longer confined to the solitude of her kitchen, where her dulcet tones would serenade the empty air, Irene's years of honing her craft have transported her to a realm where her potential continues to evolve. Drawing inspiration from the glorious era of the 1980s, Irene's influences encompass a lofty array of legendary artists such as Talking Heads, Blondie, Eurythmics, David Bowie, and the incomparable Aretha Franklin among others.
